Remember that you are not alone,
Remember that I am near.
Remember that when you're feeling forlorn,
Remember to have no fear.

Remember to always smile,
Remember this every day.
Remember to cover up your cries,
Remember to smile anyway.

Remember that you are not alone,
Remember that I am near.
Remember that when you're feeling forlorn,
Remember - you have no fear.

  1. This is a great poem. I really like the idea that when someone is alone, you are reminding him or her that you are near. I suggest changing the word glum. I don't think it fits with the overall tone of your poem.

Right here it sounds like you're saying to someone "Remember to remeber to feel good." Change it up, homes. Other than that, it's wonderful.

  5. I think that you accidentally put some anaphora into this, may I say, magnum opus. You may have also accidentally blew my entire being into oblivion without my knowledge.
